Visit The River Room and see the lights in McAdenville, aka Christmas Town, USA!
Catawba Riverkeeper and the River Room are thrilled to be part of the McAdenville community, especially at Christmastime! We can feel the magic in the air and invite you come be a part of it.
The River Room will be open to the public December 1-24, 2025
December Hours:
Sunday - Thursday : 4-9 PM
Friday & Saturday: 4-9:30 PM
*Christmas Eve 4-8 PM*
Food trucks nightly (see calendar of food trucks below)
The lights come on at 5:30 PM and go off at 10 PM each night December 1-26.
Make sure to join us for Christmas Market on December 13th from 1pm - 5 pm. The River Room will open at noon with live music and a visit from Santa Claus himself. For more information click the button below.
4 steps to experience the famous McAdenville Christmas lights:

Arrive to the River Room early!
Beat the traffic and arrive to the River Room early (before 5:30 PM).

Grab a drink!
Relax with a craft cocktail, local draft beer, or a glass of wine.

Eat!
Order dinner from the rotating food truck on site (see calendar of food trucks below).

Walk through the lights!
Grab some hot cider from the River Room, or a coffee and hot chocolate from our on-site vendor, then walk around the lake and through the neighborhood to take in the magical lights.
